“Rome wasn’t built in a day. But it was conquered in three.”

That was one of many posts on the Ryder Cup Europe social media accounts to celebrate the team’s 16½-11½ win over the United States in the 44th playing of the biennial bash, held this year at Marco Simone Golf and Country Club near Rome, Italy.

The team celebrations with the Cup in the hours and days that follow are always fun to see, and European captain Luke Donald foreshadowed what would be a fun night in his interview with Golf Channel’s Cara Banks just minutes after Europe secured the Cup.

“We always do it right in Europe, we do it right,” said Donald with a smile. “We’ll have a few drinks.”

Did they ever.

The chants started with “Two more years!” for the captain and transitioned to cheers of “Ole! Ole! Ole!” and songs of victory on the team bus. Check out the highlights from Team Europe’s epic Ryder Cup celebrations.

Someone get the Ryder Cup Europe admin a raise (and a few Advil)

Video was shared on social media saying Shane Lowry and Jon Rahm were on a champagne rampage. One follower claimed it should be called a “Rahmpage,” leading to a hilarious response from the page’s admin.

You’ve got to appreciate the honesty from the admin. If you’re going to feel miserable, might as well lean into it and create some content.

“USA is terrified, Europe’s on fire.”

Team leader Rory McIlroy was fired up on Saturday night after a dust-up on the 18th green, and after he defeated Sam Burns, 3 and 1, in Sunday singles he addressed what happened in a press conference.

Later on in the evening, McIlroy went absolutely bonkers on the bus with his team, singing “USA is terrified, Europe’s on fire.” It’s actually a catchy little tune.

Drinks from the Ryder Cup

Shane Lowry, Rory McIlroy and more guzzled from the champion’s chalice on the team bus.

“We are the champions”

The Kings of the Ryder Cup celebrated with a little Queen on the team bus, led by captain Luke Donald. (Warning: Tone deaf and drunk is a bad combination).

Karaoke with Robert MacIntyre

Big Bob, the “wee lad from Oban,” Scotland, had himself a week and even better Sunday night. MacIntyre went 2-0-1 as a rookie and outscored the likes of Shane Lowry, Justin Rose and Matt Fitzpatrick in his debut. He let it all out on the team bus with a rousing rendition of I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by the Proclaimers.

The team (Francesco Molinari specifically) love Tommy Fleetwood

No words, just watch.

Team left side or right side?

The first tee was lively over the weekend at the Ryder Cup, and one of the many chants among fans was each section yelling “We’re the left side/middle/right side of the tee.”

The players obviously took a liking to the chant and had their own inner team battle on the bus.

Ryder Cup coffee

Shane Lowry shared a photo of his breakfast which featured the Ryder Cup displayed in his coffee and a breakfast pastry. Surely the Englishman will need more than that after last night’s festivities.

The last man standing was …

Tyrrell Hatton! By the end of the night, the Englishman was apparently the last man standing, drink in hand and party sunglasses on.
